Happy Wallet Adventures had an amazing 2019. We flew 97,276 miles, visited 11 countries, and 27 different airports. While we have a lot more coming up on those 2019 trips, this post is about looking forward to 2020. About the realization of a dream. In 2020, Happy Wallet Adventures is heading to the Olympics! We are Olympians! Well we are Olympic watchers… that is just as good right? While it a little late to start planning, it is still possible to make your your Olympic dream come true. It is time for Olympics Planning 101!
Why I waited So Long to write about Olympics Planning?
I know an Olympics planning article may have been a lot more helpful earlier, but 2020 will my first time going to the Olympics. Personally, I did not feeling comfortable writing and giving tips about Olympics Planning until I went through the process myself. I have always wanted to attend the Olympics, but the price has always scared me away. However, in 2020 the Olympics are in Japan, my favorite country in the world to visit (so far). I had to make this happen. Luckily it isn’t too late to become an Olympic watcher and knock Tokyo 2020 of your bucket list. Not only that but it is never too busy to start prepping for the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.
In the next week we will be posting information about:
- Getting Tickets
- Booking Airfare
- Finding a Place to Stay
- Surviving in Tokyo
- Places to Explore Outside of Tokyo
- Things to Pack for the Olympics
